The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) MIMAROPA Region took part in the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ (DENR) ceremonial signing of the Anti-Corruption Manifesto during the virtual launch of “Project KASANGGA: Tokhang Laban sa Korapsyon,” May 18.

Led by Environment Secretary Roy A. Cimatu and other senior DENR officials, the Manifesto Signing of Pledge of Cooperation aimed at forging a stronger partnership with the PACC in support of the campaign to combat all forms of graft and corruption in the government.

“The signing of the Manifesto of Cooperation and Oath of Honesty is a solid testimony of your commitment to get rid of corrupt practices and unscrupulous government workers in the DENR,” said PACC Commissioner Greco Belgica.

In his message, Secretary Cimatu reiterated the DENR’s full support to President Rodrigo Duterte’s goal to ensure transparency and accountability in the government. He emphasized that this commitment “will not be merely symbolic,” and that this will be “practiced with consistency” throughout the Department.
