The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) MIMAROPA Region paid tribute to its senior public servants for their dedication and commitment in public service, May 27.
MGB MIMAROPA Regional Director Glenn Marcelo Noble, together with Chief Administrative Officer Bon Kristoffer Gabay, led the awarding of plaques of recognition to Ms. Elenita Cabueños (35 years in service), Ms. Marichu Magno (36 years in service), Ms. Yolanda Verdejo (41 years in service), Mr. Tranquilino Punzalan (40 years in service), Mr. Nelson Sunga (21 years in service), and Mr. Arnold Villanueva (26 years in service).
The awarding of the Regional Office’s senior public servants is part of the two-day webinar titled “Mind and Body in the Pandemic Era: To Manage Today and the Future” which covered discussions about celebrating life’s transitions, mind management, and healthy aging amidst the pandemic.
This activity also sought to raise the awareness of MGB MIMAROPA employees, particularly the senior citizens, in terms of achieving financial wellness, exploring investment opportunities, and revisiting the retirement programs being offered by Government Service Insurance System for their retiring members.
